Jerome Boudreaux

Jerome Boudreaux, a native of New Orleans now resides in Grenada, Ms. Jerome is an artist and connoisseur of Art and Antiques.

Forced to leave his home by Katrina, Jerome sought refuge in Grenada. Jerome currently owns and operates "Main St. Antiques",... antiques on consignment.

You really owe it to yourself to stop in for a visit and browse around. Main St Antiques has that Nawlens atmosphere or maybe it's just the persona of Jerome Boudreaux. Nevertheless, you will find a very unique collection of Antiques, along with an Art Studio.

A Gardener..Florist..Artist..Antique Collector

At an early age Jerome discovered flower gardening had an anesthetic affect. At the age of 17 Jerome opened a retail flower shop, which he operated for 12 years.

Jerome then turned to painting. "Old Plantation Scenes, Louisianna Swamps" and "Folk Art"...

and the people said "Amen"
.

Folkart by definition is not something you will find in a fine art gallery. Primitive, yet subtly soothing to the "soul". Jerome's Boudreaux's folkart painting, conjure up a time when life was simple.
