Only moderate success will be attained without the union of all three requirements. WIth the water, wind and clouds are in unison you can expect excellent results. First, a favorable south or south western winds hold great promise of cloudy skies. North to north western winds with a rapid rise in the barometer frequently brings about an abundance of sunshine, which is a bad thing. For the second condition of clouds, south western winds can result in too much darkening of the skies and is seldom a good day gor trout fishing.
The advocations of the angler to angle in any weather conditions will naturally reap different results in trout fishing. Some being better than others. Although for best results, select a day when the tree essentials of wind, clouds and water are in union.
